Strut Records present the classic album 'Lanquidity' remastered for a brand new 4LP box set and 2CD editions

Sun Ra’s classic album ‘Lanquidity’ has been given the treatment it deserves and is now available as a 4LP special edition box set on Strut Records. A highly improvisational album which was recorded overnight at Bob Blank’s Blank Tapes following the Arkestra’s performance on Saturday Night Live on 17th July, 1978. This collector’s edition includes the original album beautifully remastered by Frank Merritt at The Carvery, as well as Bob Blank’s alternative mixes. Both versions have been cut loud at 45rpm for the perfect listening. The fluid and other-worldly nature of all five pieces transport you to another realm while never losing that innate funkiness.
